Philosophy
Black Pear deliberately sets out to be different from the majority of sourcing specialists by taking complete and unequivocal responsibility for the management of the Supply Chain from start to finish.
Although we have a group of preferred supply partners with whom we work, we do not operate under any exclusive agreements. This is because our focus and commitment is totally to our our clients, be it from a simple sourcing exercise to a detailed project such as the identification and implementation of an e-sourcing platform. We have no wish to inhibit our ability to act in our clients best interests.
Our belief is that by fully satisfying and exceeding the expectations of our clients, we will become a valued and strategic member of their supply chain. As such we will add value to our client's business.
Even after an initial project has been completed, we will continue to work proactively on behalf of our clients for the products or services we supply. If we subsequently identify a better value deal, we will offer the full benefit to our client.

Black Pear has been set up by a group of Purchasing Professionals based both in the UK and abroad with experience and expertise of a wide range of industries and products. Our Supply Chain background means we understand and empathise completely with the needs of our clients.
Black Pear will take, from order to delivery, full responsibility for the management of the products or services placed with us and manage the process so the client does not have to and can use their resource to focus on their core activity.
Risk Management
A key aspect of purchasing from a low cost sourced supply chain is managing the increased risk. There are the obvious issues – extended supply chains, language, cultural barriers plus the less obvious hidden costs of lost management time, increased administration, etc. Black Pear has experts in these areas and looks to actively take on that risk and manage it for you ensuring you receive the right product at the right time to the right quality and ensuring the best possible overall total acquisition cost is achieved.
